Traction Control & Airbag bag light ON after replacement of combination switch

T32 Series II, 2017, ST 2.5L
Traction Light & Airbag lights are continuously ON after replacement of combination Switch.

Any thoughts?
OBD2 didn’t give any error codes.

Thanks

Replaced stock combination switch (without fog lamp switch) with one have the fog lamp switch.

Steering wheel, Airbag, clock spring & steering angle sensors were removed for the replacement.

You shouldn't have had to remove all that to replace the light combination switch only.

Check your connectors for the spiral cable, both in the moving connection to the steering wheel and the fixed connection to the steering column. The spiral cable is the key element in those errors.
Does your horn still work ? If not, then the spiral cable may have been installed incorrectly while the steering wheel was not centred which would then over-rotate the spiral cable and break it.

Spiral cable is all good and everything (horn, cruise, steering control) working.

Unfortunately for T32 everything needs to be removed first in order to remove the stock combination switch. All the connectors are intact.

Steering is centered, as T32 has kind of groove marks on the steering wheel and the column where steering wheel is inserted.

Run the diagnostic via OBD2 no code return.

Problem solved.

Problem caused due to disconnection of Steering Angle Sensor. It requires calibration after that.

Airbag light was on due to reason that i start the vehicle without the steering airbag. (Needs scanner with enhanced option to clear the codes)
