Deccaleration lag and weak at full throttle Hi guys, i have two issues with my 09 xtrail 2 litre diesel. It has 280'km on it
1. There is a lag when i take the foot of the accelerator. Meaning the car keeps the rpm and speed steady for about 1-1.5 seconds before the rpm starts dropping. Slight breaking doesn't force the rpm to drop. This has been felt since i bought it but now it's worse. It's mostly felt at 2000rpm or above. I did change the diesel filter just before i noticed it being worse. What could that be?
2. When i punch the throttle the car accelerates nicely up until about 2300 rpm and then the acceleration doesn't increase anymore. Hard to explain, like it speeds up untill 2300 rpm, then keeps the speed but doesn't speed up untill about 3000 rpm. It feels like the engine lacks the power to speed up within that rpm range. Any idea?
