T31 Low speed vibration after CV joints replaced and re-replaced
Has anyone had experience with low speed rattle appearing after having front CV Shaft's replaced?
The car is on lifted king springs springs, but this was done a while ago with zero issues to date.
One of the CV's was leaking after a big trip so dropped it off for a service. Only since having the front CV's replaced, it seems to vibrate when starting up at low speeds, once moving the light shaking "goes aways".
Mechanic thought maybe the two where not balanced so has tried replacing them with anothers but it actually got worse. We are having no luck, he's thinking maybe the lift means the angle is too much for the shaft (over 20 degrees) so the car is not happy or maybe an engine mount has gone? But it seems weird as if the angle was an issue surely it would have been an issue when the lift was installed. Has anyone had similar issues and know common causes for this? I can see people mentioned issues with universal vs nissan oem parts, but that's the only information I can find.

Re: T31 Low speed vibration after CV joints replaced and re-replaced
That's fairly it regarding CV joints needing to be genuine Nissan replacements.
I had aftermarket "OEM replacements" which vibrated around 30kph and not until they replaced them with reconditioned genuine CV joints did the problem go away. Since then I replaced those with new genuine Nissan driveshafts over 7 years ago and no problems with them and I have a 50mm lift on strut spacers.
Ask them what they did. they may have just re-greased them and replaced the boot in which case the CV joint could be worn if ran dry for too long before being found.

Re: T31 Low speed vibration after CV joints replaced and re-replaced
Hi gents, thank you for the prompt replies. Will ask my mechanic about the parts used, I believe he's tried a number of different iterations of the same supplier. My understanding is we put in two new front driveshafts and then did a wheel alignment. So no other changes to the driveline that could be causing this issue. But you never know. Will pass on your insights and see what comes of this head scratcher.
Update
_____
Just off the phone with the mechanic, he noted the front driver side of car is actually sitting a 50mm lower than the left. So he's going to take the springs out and measure check everything over. Be interested to see what's what given the car has been riding on new King Springs and KYB shocks since August 2021.

Re: T31 Low speed vibration after CV joints replaced and re-replaced
Update, just got the car back today from my mechanic and took it for a longish drive (floods limiting). As dlpeek and Revhead Kev both pointed to, once the mechanic replaced both CV's with genuine Nissan ones, all the rattles went away.
Now, as for the car sitting lower.... That's another story, but after removing the springs they both measured the same. Mechanic swapped them around when installing back into car and the car sat a little more even. So springs might not be the cause of that 50mm difference. Turns out there was a bit of confusion around how much the car was dropping (i.e. CM vs MM!!!).
But what I found interesting was talking to the store I bought them from about warranty, they talked to King Springs and King Springs advised the springs brand new come out with a tolerance of 345-350mm...they do expect the plastic coating to compress a bit. And they would only warranty them if taken out of the car they measured 335mm or below (as in uncompressed). The company was right that they wouldn't expect the spring to fail on such a light application so quickly too, clearly something else is going on. So I won't bother going down the route of getting new springs as the car is working fine. I'm sure something else will go wrong long before the springs and shocks do.
