T32 suspension

I'd like to improve the suspension on the T32 4x4. I use it offroad rather than in town One of the annoyances is hitting a pothole (my council owns plenty) and the whole thing going Kerr-Bang.
I have got extra weight with aluminium bullbar and a steel bash plate, and then we carry two adults and camping gear.

Once I tried to talk to the local Pedders agent but he was dismissive that I could do anything for an X-trail.
There is an Ironman 4x4 agent, but their website doesn't acknowledge a T32, only a T31 so it isn't easy to look at what is available.

Has anyone upgraded the suspension on a T32, suitable for off road travel, usually on tracks rather than bush bashing

Re: T32 suspension

One thing would be larger A/T tyres, if it is as good on T32 as earlier models.

As it has ESP it may not be such a thing.

Second is shocks and springs- maybe go higher 30mm if possible but given it may be a safety issue due to ESP not being correctly configured for the extra centre of gravity... you may not have much luck finding aftermarket mods

You may however find its disagreeable because the shocks are worn. Replacing them with a quality set could do wonders for you, look for Sachs, KYB, Koni, just avoid anything from the chinese white label aftermarket offerings, as well as Monroe, of course.
