Xtrail ti 02 - chirping sound and spontaneously dying whilst driving

Hey peeps!

New here and new to trying to understand cars so simple car language would be appreciated 😁
I have a xtrail ti 02 model, qr25 engine with a bit more than 250k and running.
My clutch is slipping so I know that's an issue.
Past few months I've noticed a chirping sound coming from somewhere, (it's not the timing belt since I got a chain).
Anyone got any ideas on what it can be?
And also entire car dies randomly when operating, usually it's when you brake from high speed and car is in neutral so I don't believe it's the clutch. When car dies, steering stops working, brakes don't work and you simply just restart the car and she operates well again. Anyone that have any idea on what this can be? You can never predict when she's going to die and there's no real pattern and I've never been able to trigger the issue, it's completely random. At the beginning it seemed to happen only at high speeds slowing down and for some reason when I turned left, then it became really unpredictable and happened several times a week. I got the cam angle sensor replaced and she worked fine for like 6 months but now she's acting up again and cam angle sensor is working as it should so I don't know what to do.
Thanks for any help!

Usually when you replace the Cam sensor the Crank sensor should also be done so that they are both done as a pair.

At 250k you should also have your timing checked as some of the earlier QR25DE engines suffer from timing chain "stretch" due to wearing of the link connections. This usually manifests itself as lower power and increased fuel usage.
