Re: what???

Harry,

Firstly we cannot help you without knowing which model and year of Xtrail you have so please give us some details.

Secondly, could you also explain what you mean by red key/green key on the dash ?

Re: what???

hi,thanks for your reply,i am new to xtrails it would seem that the trouble is that i have misfueled it,i put about 6galls of petrol in my diesel tank this is were all the trouble started
i have 200miles before found out what i had done,so brimed it up with 6 ish galls meaning to syphon out after it had mixed but unable to syphon any out??is there a special way to do this.
it is still running well but pinks when you blip the throttle
2008 t31 auto diesel
red/green key it is a keyless (if you wish) ignition seem to recall turning the switch and getting a green icon on the dash but i could be getting confused probly an age thing

Re: what???

hi,
physically unable to do that may have to resort to going in from the top as if you were getting access to the pump/sender unit,or even get a garage to do it for me,but just wondered why a hsoe can not take any out via fuel cap
