The door locks keeps tripping after locking or unlocking the car. I have done the following to try to trace the issue with no success so far: - Disconnected the door lock switch on the drivers door panel - Disconnected the power window connecter on the same panel - Disconnected the door warning switch (on the door frame) - Replaced the battery (one dead cell now) gone flat because of the constant actuating With everything except the door lock actuator disconnected it still trips If I disconnect this then the rear doors go into tilt and start actuating The only thing I have not touched is the Timer Control Module because I do not know how to get at it. Any suggestions other than to toss a match at it would be gratefully received. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Derek DCosta)Sat, 20 Jun 2020 22:27:59 +0000 Smart entrance control module t30https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2096921,from=rss#post2096921https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2096921,from=rss#post2096921Hi all, I have an issue with the secm (smart entrance control module) on my t30 xtrail, has anyone had issues with one of these before? It’s an intermittent issue and the thing works fine 95% of the time but it when it’s playing up the car unlocks by itself, When it working properly everything is fine, the door remote works (as it always does) and it stays locked, When it’s not working properly the car locks fine, you walk away and then the car just unlocks itself after short period with no warning (this can be straight away or up to 5 minutes or so) I’ve tried a few types of fixes, checked the lock actuators, switches etc and these seem fine, I’ve removed the remote battery after locking the car to see if it’s that might be the issue but it still unlocked by itself, I have removed the dash whilst it was playing up and found that the secm (small white box) seems to click consistently while the car drives like its trying to do something and it’s driving me nuts, Has anyone seen or heard of this before? If I change the module then do I need to change the remote as well to suit the different module? Is there any way to test it before I shell out for another one Ive asked a couple of wreckers to no avail and Nissan Australia are no help, any thoughts???? Thanks in advance, Jex.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jexy05)Tue, 13 Aug 2019 16:10:32 +0000
