The trick is to rotate and keep an eye on the pressures, also I took mine onto Stockton beach and done to 15 psi and the only problem I had was low clearance as it is a stock suspension. I am looking at upgrading to the t32 in the next 4 months or sonondisclosed_email@example.com (mackmeatybite)Sun, 26 May 2019 19:50:39 +0000 Re: New Tyreshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2096434,from=rss#post2096434https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2096434,from=rss#post2096434Well I've just done 10,000k on the new CS5's. Hardly any sign of wear and still performing brilliantly. So much better, for me, than the originals - the car drives so much better, I can't recommend these highly enough.nondisclosed_email@example.com (robper)Wed, 09 Jan 2019 06:00:49 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2096021,from=rss#post2096021https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2096021,from=rss#post2096021Can you give us a bit of an update on how those tyres are holding up when you hit, I dunno, 10,000km or so? When we drag ours over, it'll need new tyres (will need them anyway) so it'll be nice to know what's going to be a good replacement. Currently at 27,000km on the OEM, they're holding up ok-ish? One puncture, repaired a year and change ago and re-repaired just last weekend. I should have mentioned in my previous post that Cooper were doing a special price for July and that's why I got them cheaper than the Geolander's. I don't know what the normal price is.nondisclosed_email@example.com (robper)Mon, 30 Jul 2018 08:59:40 +0000 Re: New Tyreshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095987,from=rss#post2095987https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095987,from=rss#post2095987The CS5 are more of a road tyre than the Geolandars so ofcourse they will be quieter. I wouldn't class tham in the same all-terrain category and possibly not as rugged off-road as the Geolandarsnondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Sun, 29 Jul 2018 13:27:25 +0000 New Tyreshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095980,from=rss#post2095980https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095980,from=rss#post2095980I've just had to put new tyres onto my T32 after 60k. I was fairly happy with the original Geolander's and was quoted $215 for replacements - same size. Having read comments on this forum I asked about the Cooper CS5, again in the same size. $205 each ! As the Coopers come with an 80k guarantee and are cheaper there was no hesitation. On with the Coopers. Wow. I can't believe how good they are. Much much quieter on the road, the rolling resistance is so much less and the handling and braking are much better. Even the turning circle is improved. Obviously, they are still new so I can't comment on mileage/wear but I'm very impressed.nondisclosed_email@example.com (robper)Sat, 28 Jul 2018 16:52:49 +0000
