I have recently purchased a 2013 T31 Series 5, dark blue, Auto Petrol. I am very pleased with the car so far and am very glad to be gone of my 95 80 series cruiser which was becoming a massive money pit. I think the X-Trail is destined to become a bit of a money pit too because I am verying excited to get stuck into some mods on it too. So far I have done the sound system with a Pioneer double din unit, JL C3's in the front doors, C2's in the back, a 12" type R sub and a couple of alpine amps. I got the steering wheel controls working awesome and am just waiting on my USB patch cable to arrive to I can hook up the USB plug in the centre console to the HU and then that job is done, oh and I am waiting on my roof mounted drop down display so I can make the kids happy. I have put in a couple of additional USB ports on the rear of the centre console so the kids can charge all their bits and pieces too. The list of things I want to do is quite extensive and I am already finding heaps of useful stuff on the forum, there are so many knowledgable people on here which is awesome. I plan to: Fit a custom snorkel with K&N enclosed pod. 1 in body lift with strut spacers All terrain tyres (1 inch taller depending on snow chain compatibility) Nudge bar. Dual batteries, I reckon I will fit two under the bonnet, who wants to place bets on this one. And I think I will muck around with some little stuff like steering wheel and gear selector lights too because it is just cool. I am in Townsville, QLD but moving to central VIC later this year.
