T30 steel wheels (+ BFG KO2 225/70/16)

I've already ordered 16in tyres and from all information I've read so far here, 15in wheels dont clear the brake calipers anyway... But I couldn't find a lot of definitive info around about steel wheels for the T30. Taking what info I could find, the Ford options didnt to seem to get me anywhere (& I think they look ugly, like you have the cheap spare wheel on and lost your plastic hubcaps!), but the Jeep options were better. I've found a Dynamic brand Sunraysia style black steel wheel for just $85ea, new, which is cheaper than I've seen used nissan spare wheels advertised for. Dynamic Part Number is either 16730P51143B (or 1611677511430P ?). They have a 30mm positive offset, which combined with the thinner steel material (vs thicker alloy rims), and being 0.5in wider, by my calculations is within @3mm of the OEM alloy clearance on the inside and only 5mm wider on the outside. So thats 16x7in, 5/114.3mm PCD, ET30 offset, but with an 84mm centre and steel centre cap cover. Having a perfect fitting 61mm? centre would mean you need a externally secured centre cap. I'd prefer a cap that you could make dust (water) tight seal over the drive shaft nuts & bearings. And there's always having an alloy spacer bush made?

Yes, I know the picture is a 6 stud hole pattern, but its all I could find right now.

Anyone see anything I have missed here before I order?
Think I just found a place that sells them for just $59ea ?? ! emoticon

Re: T30 steel wheels

Yeah, I did see that post Kev, and decided they stick out just a bit too far for me. The 30mm offset I have ordered is only 10mm from OEM, and at least 5mm of that will be absorbed by the change to steel from alloy. Then add .25in for the extra 7in rim width, the 30mm offset should be very close to OEM measurements and not have to worry about wheel alignment, etc.

The local tyre shop that's doing the fiting has given me a price within $5/per wheel of my best online price, so I'm going to get it all done at the one shop now, which is great!

So for $744 (Tyres) + $430 (Wheels) I'm going to have 16x7 Sunraysia steelies shod with BFG KO2's for under $1100. Very happy with that! emoticon
And I'll have the OEM factory alloys with the Goodride AT's as well for 'around town' and long highway drives. I gues I'm lucky to have a compressor, rattle gun, and two full size trolley jacks, so it only takes me 15mins to change a set of wheels. emoticon

Guess they won't fit my T31 if/when I upgrade cars next year, maybe? emoticon

Anyway, tyres have as yet failed to arrive (2 days late now) and wheels are on the way, so maybe pics next week? emoticon

NEW SHOES! The Jeep ET30 offset is PERFECT as far as I can tell. emoticon
Anyone wanting Black Sunraysia style steel wheels, these 'Jeep' fitment wheels fit the X-Trail great. $85ea + centres + shipping = Bargain! emoticon

Shod with BFG KO2 225/70/16 which are TIGHT! Not a lot of clearance there. emoticon

WTF? Larger pictures above display fine!

See for yourself. There are plenty of pics in this thread of a T30 with them on.
The only thing is for Wiz to let us know of any rubbing through extended travel limits.

Well that's what I'd like to know, I should have phrased my question better.
