Anyone on the sunshine coast with a T31 diesel auto

My wife and I own a manual T31 diesel. Recently we bought a 2012 TL diesel auto as our second car. I know the engine on the auto is detuned a little but ours seems very slow. It's really slow off the line like there is a delay before pulling away.

I'd really appreciate it If someone would let me have a go in their diesel auto or have a go in mine. I live in Caloundra.

Regards Paul

Re:

Paul, I have a 2008 model, on mine it has always had a lag before taking off for when the turbo kicks in. You get used to it.

Re: Anyone on the sunshine coast with a T31 diesel auto

Thanks for the reply. My wife's manual diesel is very quick off the line. This feels like a delay in the gearbox engaging and can be a little dangerous. On the positive side, I have to play it safe pulling on to roundabouts etc.
