Just unwind the rubber bumpers on each side of the rear door that the tailgate sits against. After a while you will run out of travel with them and have to replace them. nondisclosed_email@example.com (FlyLight)Sat, 07 Oct 2023 11:11:54 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094436,from=rss#post2094436https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094436,from=rss#post2094436Maybe it's not the tailgate that's rattling after all. A loose rear seat pull pin on the side of the rear seat can cause that rattle sound too, so check that out Failing that you will have to remove the tailgate lining to have a look at what has come loose.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Wed, 23 Aug 2017 20:45:10 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094432,from=rss#post2094432https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094432,from=rss#post2094432Hi again Jalaski, def not number plate, padded with foam and no way it can vibrate and rattle now, so def inside rear hatch. Any components of rear hatch know to work loose? nondisclosed_email@example.com (BK08)Wed, 23 Aug 2017 20:07:22 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094381,from=rss#post2094381https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094381,from=rss#post2094381Ah thanks, it's really secure, but perhaps a bit of foam behind might be the cure. It seems to be latching securely? Pretty annoying on coarse chip roads, keen to resolve.nondisclosed_email@example.com (BK08)Mon, 14 Aug 2017 21:00:25 +0000
