Re: PhotoBucket became a paid Photos Hosting Service
When did you setup your photobucket account Dave ?
I ask because yours seems different to mine in a few things...
Your direct link starts with i1192.photobucket.com/
My direct link starts with i371.photobucket.com/
Your direct link finishes with /Woolgoolgatrip2.jpg
My direct link finishes with /HarbourBridgeBigAvatar_zpsqj9jdac5.jpg
When I click on your link in the above post I go direct to your pic and also see all of the links to the right of the page.

Re:
Hi All
Thanks Kev for guiding me here.
Yes, my avatar and signature still on PB.
I use firefox, and PB is a nightmare of adverts, so the site is pretty much unreadable.
Anyone know how Shstevenson managed to work Dropbox? or are there restrictions on there too.
I can't really see PB backing down. Even if they lose a few million users, they probably won't notice it much.
(SkyMesh is currently doing something vaguely similar albeit in a comparatively miniscule way.)

Re: PhotoBucket became a paid Photos Hosting Service
The most important thing in finding another hosting site is the ability to link to thumbnails as this saves forum space in threads and makes for easier reading. Large pics in threads make scrolling through very tedious and most of the time the pics don't need to be seen by everyone who visits the thread.
Also, text links to pics are useless.
Being able to click a thumbnail to open a larger version of the pic is the greatest feature I think.
Jalal,
Just like we can embed a youtube link to a video, does runboard offer a way to embed google pics with the actual picture instead of just a text link ?

Re: PhotoBucket became a paid Photos Hosting Service
Kev,
It's not upto Runboard, as Google Photos only generates a link when shared and even if you add the [img] tag top it, it doesn't convert it to a pic, so it's a Google limitation.
YouTube is different and allows hot-linking.
