Wheel swap/ upgrade.

I have a 2007 T31 with standard alloy wheels but i want to hunt down some of the series 3 18" wheels. but my concern is the wheel well. Is it big/deep enough to take the larger rim. I would not have thought there would have been anybody work changes to the series 3 from the series one but I just wanted to check with anyone that would know. Thanks

Re: Wheel swap/ upgrade.

Did your 2007 T31 come with a full-sized spare or a space-saver like the later model T31's ?

If the rims are the same width (5.5 or whichever your 2007 17" rims are) then all should be OK as long as you get the lower profile to keep the diameter the same.

The things you would need to check are the profile and width of the 18" tyre and then using the tyre icon along the top of the forum page you can put those and your 17" tyre specs into the comparison chart to see the differences.
