Resolution on rear view camera

Hi anyone know how to improve the resolution on the rear view camera? I assume a new camera would be needed?

Re:

besides swapping the camera out, im guessing you'd have to change the head unit too.

Re: Resolution on rear view camera

You don't have a lot of choices I'm afraid.
Firstly, if a fixed camera is manufactured, and therefore set-to, a certain resolution you have no choice but to replace it with a higher spec unit. A fixed reversing camera simply doesn't have the ability to have its resolution varied.
Secondly, you'll need to replace the screen (head unit) to comply with the new cameras' ability to send higher resolution.
All this is not going to come cheap...especially if you're going to be paying for the labour to have them fitted. :-(

Re: Resolution on rear view camera

I've got a T32 and find the rear camera is very good, no need to change the resolution at all - it's almost as good as my tv picture. Sill question, but have you tried cleaning the lens as it can get dirty.

Re:

I agree with RobPer, the resolution on my T32 All- Round View is exceptional.

Cheers
