Well I had the 70,000 km service done on Friday and the car was found to be in excellent shape. The kms travelled between the 60,000 km and the 70,000 kms service, included a trip to Perth and back. The T32 TL X Trail was by far the best vehicle I have done the trip to Perth in. Doing 1000 km (plus) every day, was no problem to the car or us inside the car.

My wife and I find the car extremely comfortable and we were still quite fresh at the end of each day. We swapped drivers every two hours (when the car told us too). The wife was especially impressed with its passing ability. She would take the decision to overtake a road train (three trailers), plant the foot and she would not spend much time on the wrong side of the road.

I was surprised that the GPS did not try to lead us astray, even though the map is quite old. I know the route extremely well, but I still set the GPS, just to see how it would go (mainly through SA, as you spend quite a bit of time on secondary highways between Renmark and Crystal Brook).

The new tyres I put on it in Perth have been fantastic (Bridgestone Ecopia EP850). They are very quite and provide excellent grip. The strong head winds on the return trip made it hard to see if there was any improvement in fuel economy.

In all, it has performed faultlessly for the 70,000 km I have done in just over two years.
