posticon Coupla mods I want to do.

My t30 needs an awning attached. I read on here some have done it but it'snoy totally clear how. My roof has two black colored bars running along either side. The removable bits in them (total of 4, 2 for each side) are still there, undamaged. The awning is a Kings awning, with rail and screws.
As well I want to install a cb radio (oricom uhf300 micro) and wondering about the wireing. Obviously I need a ground and a power. The power so when I switch the car on it comes on (the radio) and when I switch the ignition off it goes off. This means I will need an aerial and I do have a suitable one, A z bracket?
Thanks in advance for nay help or opinions given. I ususally do stuff like this myself but my experience is limited to motorcycles and caravans. Tin tops generally have not been in my universe. emoticon

Re:

I did find a video on how to install the awning and it seems The two rails I have on my roof might not be suitable for mounting the awning on, so I would like some input on this question.

Hi Chris,

Awnings usually attach to roof racks using L-shaped brackets.
The removable pieces in the black bars on your roof are where roof racks attach so you should get a pair of those first.
