Bad reception - radio
Hi all,
has anyone had any issues with the radio reception in their x-trail?
I've got a 2012 T31, and get seriously crackling when travelling even in the inner suburbs (South Yarra Melbourne).
Stock aerial, have had speakers replaced (but had same issue with stock speakers), is this a common problem?
Has anyone upgraded their aerial?
Cheers
Jack

Re: Bad reception - radio
One upon a time I had bad radio reception after fitting a cheap Dashcam.
The problem arose from apparent interference by the voltage conversion unit which (it seems) injected a 'dirty' signal to the cars' wiring.
Returning that camera and replacing it with a better one solved that problem.
From that experience (which may not apply to your particular situation):
1. Do you have anything pluggedinto the system?
2. Does reception improve with all of the plugins disconnected?
