posticon Rattle / Vibration

I am a very new member. I own a 2009 model. In the centre or slightly left in the dash area is a rattle / vibration. That sounds a bit like something vibrating on the windscreen. But I am sure it is in the dash. Can someone help guide me where to start looking please. I apologies if this has come up before but I have tried google but forum I have read seemed to be older cars. I just thought if you had a later model it may make a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Rattle / Vibration

Hi Bronte,

I have a 2003 model and recently after having the airbag recall done I also have what sounds like a rattle/squeak coming from the dash area where the airbag/glovebox is.

I expect something is rubbing after they replaced the airbag so my guess is you may be having a similar issue. My suggestion is to remove the glovebox and have someone sit in the passenger's seat listening closely for where the noise is coming from to try and locate the source.
