Removable Light Bar on Roof Rack T31

hey
the other day my auto electrician and i set up my new light bar to my front roof rack. Dont have my bull bar yet so i mounted it on top and bought another spare rack so my light bar can be permanently attached to the rack its on and all i have to do is to swap over the racks when i need the light bar gone

mounted the light bar to roof rack
Image

installed plug connection near the roof rack

Image

use an industrial strength double sided tape to run cable along where the roof meets the side rail and all the towards the boot

Image

open the boot and then ran the cable down the left corner removed through black rubber sleeve Thingy

and fed the cable through there which goes down towards the passenger side door out down behind the glove box area through the firewall and connected .
i had a switch installed next to my hill descent switch to turn them on but they will only common if my high beams are on aswell.
all up it took him a around a casual 3hrs and put me back about $250 for install
just need to get out there and play with it now

Is the connector a waterproof one ?
I'd get one with a cap as well so it could be totally sealed when the lightbar was not connected, even if you had to cut-off the connector from the lightbar and connect a different one.
