Spoiler for T-31

has anyone installed one for their x-trail? Do you have to drill a hole to get this installed?

Admin Edit: No eBay links are allowed on the forum as per forum rules. Thanks.

Re:

All of the spoiler fitted on the T31 (including the aftermarket ones) require drilling of the tailgate.

....and if you haven't had experience in this field (and I guess by your question that you haven't) DON'T even think about doing it.

For a flying brick, it just adds drag.

The sweet spot is well under when a foil could be useful.

Re:

It's not like the xtrail will be taken to the race track to be concerned about the drag affect the spoiler will make. It's just a cosmetic accessory that some choose to fit and in my opinion it completes the look of the rear of the boxy xtrail which looks a bit chopped-off at the back without it. But to each their own.
