I need to fit a trade rack

Hey I need to fit a trade rack to my T30 Ti and I'm not too sure what's the best way to do it...

I've seen a few T31s with trade racks fitted and it looks like they are fitted directly to the rails without roof bars. I believe the rails are different between the T30 and T31 but I was thinking of doing the same sort of idea.

I think I would need to remove the rear spoiler and possibly reinforce the mount area because I doubt it'll carry a load on the rear. And I would possibly have to make some brackets or spacers for the roof mounts.

The rack I will need is about 2300x1250 but a shorter one might work too. I do use this car for work so I will be carrying doors and timber on it.

Anyone got any knowledge on doing this to a T30???

Anthony

Take a pic of the type of rack on the T31 you want and we can understand more what you want to do.

I'm happy to take any suggestions on how to fit this size rack.

I was thinking of making 2 brackets to bolt to rack mounts, a special pair for the rear somehow... Then a bar either side of the car running length ways to mount the trade rack to

Hey mants,

They were the first place I called because they were great at fitting other people's racks I know.... But when I spoke to them they seemed very reluctant if it wasn't a direct fit unfortunately...

That's a very handsome set up! What did you end up doing...I'm considering something very similar for a rooftop tent and storage.
