Thanks mjs Your right the wheels and Bridgestone tyres sit perfectly in the arches, gives the car such a different look Bushranger Nighthawk LEDS, one word, Incredible Ive only had them on the Xtrail for about a month, but so far they are possibly the biggest upgrade ive done, my old lightbar was great, but these are a completely different story. With the amount of offroading I do, and some of the trips ive been on lately, the previous bashplate just wasn't holding up to the terrain i was driving. I know it was never really designed as a proper bash plate, more of a skid plate. Being quite thin at 1.5mm i think it didnt take getting hit too well. Recently i had to replace the sump as well as it had been bashed inwards. I always had a problem with the design of it, the way it bolted on at the front. It just stopped in my eyes too short, as when offroading and i bottomed out at all it caught the ground and bent backwards. The new design which i got custom made comes further forward and bends upwards at the front. Its made out of 4mm steel, so really I shouldnt have a problem with it. At the weekend i went offroad and on a pretty steep sand dune i bottomed out and hit the front pretty hard. This plate hardly had a mark on it. So overall at the moment im pretty happy with it. I guess time will tell. Good Points Very capable vehicle takes me to alot of places people think it wont go. Cheap vehicle to run Bad Points Could do with a few more areas for accessories to be fitted What mods have you done? Dark Window Tints - Rear Parking Sensors TJM Seatcovers - Full Underbody Protection from Xtrail Shop ECB Bigtube Bullbar with Fog lights 20 Inch LED Lightbar - Rhino Rack Roof Bars Maxxis Bravo 771 A/T Tyres What mods are on the list to do? Pretty much got the car to where id like it, although some things that would make it better but ill probably never do are, suspension lift, roof rack, snorkel, some more lighting up front, rear wheel carrier and upgrade rear reversing / working / camp lighting. Why did you buy this vehicle? I bought this vehicle new as we wanted a car that wasn't going to break down and liked that it came with 3 yrs warranty 3 yrs road side assist. Originally the vehicle was bought for camping trips down gravel tracks but the more and more I drove the vehicle the more I found out just how capable this vehicle actually is. How often do you go offroad? 2 weekends each month and every public holiday or long weekends we get away camping. Few photos: How it all started, shiny and new nondisclosed_email@example.com (mants)Mon, 23 Mar 2015 16:48:01 +0000
