harmonic balancer T31 diesel

Has anyone changed the harmonic balancer on a T31diesel? Any tricks to it or just standard? 2008 if that changes anything

Interesting that you have posed this question so recently... My harmonic balancer just started to make noise at start up but have been reassured that all is ok still and its functioning properly... but I have my doubts if the noise is happening...

Have you found anywhere that sells these things second hand? i'm just beginning my research and haven't had much luck... $357 brand new from Japan...

Couldn't find an aftermarket one, so bad to go genuine. Turns out they were only $263 Inc gst and about an hour to fit.
If get on to it if it's making noise, timing chain is just behind that cover if it does let go, or even a radiator would be more expensive
