posticon How to remove odd smell after air con

The car is T31 model. Recently odd smell came from the vent after I turned off the aircon.
Anyone knows how to get rid of the smell?
I will also want to change the microfilter. I have been shopping around for a while. I can't find many sold in Ebay. or the piece of paper really costs $50. crazy. Any cheaper place to buy?

Re: How to remove odd smell after air con

Without knowing the age of your car or the distance covered, the microfilter does need to be replaced regularly as it collects everything necessary to start its own biosphere within 12 months.

I disputed the necessity to change that filter - until I discovered how bad it smelled.

That is what micro-filters do. They work all of the time (A/C on or off) and create a wonderful environment for unpleasant bacteria.

It is much cheaper to change the filters yourself, but you might need to be quite flexible.emoticon
