Re: Give it a go, as it's better than not being able to open the sunroof at all. The drain holes for the T30 are in the front 2 corners, so even if the sunroof opens partially for you, you should be able to access them.

Re: Windy handle thing Have found the bent crank allen key handle in the boot under the lid...will be back to see if I could do it...
Managed to open and close the sunroof using the handle only. Weird operation because if close it too hard there is a gaping hole into the rear roof compartment, so you have to wind it a bit check it then wind it some more so its level with the roof.
I also found the culprit. The air con drain hose was sitting inside the floor and not through he firewall....explains the smell as well.
