Had a long drive home after the trip so didn't want to do any damage. Where did you start from? Yeah with it being pretty wet the day we done it i wasnt risking anything and was happy to take chicken tracks. I had tyre pressure about 20psi worked well. Not sure what the enter point us, as it was my first time out that way and was just following someone else. nondisclosed_email@example.com (mants)Sun, 21 Jun 2015 23:32:52 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2088088,from=rss#post2088088https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2088088,from=rss#post2088088I was out with the Ranger group last weekend. Is that the compact 4wd club? Heard about them. Yeah that would be good. Na not them, ive been out with them before but they're very tame, and don't really do a terrible lot apart from stop and start all the time to talk or for tea. It was just somewhere else i read about people asking could a Forester etc get along that track and then people just discussing it.nondisclosed_email@example.com (mants)Fri, 02 May 2014 15:18:48 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082773,from=rss#post2082773https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082773,from=rss#post2082773Yea there are chicken tracks. It's the steepness and the looseness of the gravel of the hill I'm more concerned about. I went for a walk and it looked really technical and fun. Have to organise one another day. Is that the compact 4wd club? Heard about them.nondisclosed_email@example.com (nananut)Thu, 01 May 2014 18:46:02 +0000 Re: Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082771,from=rss#post2082771https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082771,from=rss#post2082771quote:nananut wrote: Nah. Back in Kal. Didn't go very far after the first hill on McCallum Rd end. It will be interesting to see if doable on the second hill because it looked steep and doable but never know until try it. Need a support vehicle though. Got pics of the hill somewhere. Don't know what's after the hill. Think there is suppost to be chicken runs around the bigger stuff, but i think i remember someone has said that foresters, xtrails and ravs have done that track. nondisclosed_email@example.com (mants)Thu, 01 May 2014 17:45:13 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082723,from=rss#post2082723https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082723,from=rss#post2082723Nah. Are you still around Perth?nondisclosed_email@example.com (mants)Mon, 28 Apr 2014 17:29:31 +0000 EOI Mundaring Powerlines 19/4/14https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082493,from=rss#post2082493https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082493,from=rss#post2082493Sorry for the late notice. Since I'm in Perth and have nothing to do this Saturday, I'm heading off to the Powerlines to check it out. My first time so don't know how to do the track and what to expect other than reading past trips on the net but will be starting from the western end then going as far as I can go without going nuts. As far as I know, some parts of the eastern end require low range and high clearance so definitely not going there. If any WA guys are in town and interested , please let me know.nondisclosed_email@example.com (nananut)Tue, 15 Apr 2014 22:39:55 +0000
