Time to hand over the reins
Well everyone, I'd just like to make it formal.
As of this week, Mark has taken over control of the Qld contact list so anyone on the list look out for an email from him when any events are organised. Anyone wishing to be on this list, please send him a PM or email.
Thanks Mark, I'm still here albeit on an irregular basis and you have my email if you need any help. I'm sure you'll do well.
I made this decision because I have not been on the forum much over the last year or so and do not feel I have given this job it's full dedication that is needed. I cannot see myself getting back to it anytime soon either so better to pass it on to someone who can dedicate the time to it.
This last year or so has been all go for me as I have been doing reno's to the house with the view of selling it soon as I head into early retirement. My son turned 18, him and his girlfriend had a baby so I'm now a grandfather and in July I am putting together a 30th reunion with my old crew from the Navy so this year is also not going to be quiet either.
In fact I have been that busy that since buying the old Pajero, I have not even had a chance to take it off road - shame on me I know. I come close as I had it organised and was on my way when Cody's car broke down and that put paid to that.
Never mind, I am intending to sell Rex off by the end of the year as well and move into a Toyota Hilux with the possibility of buying an A Van or a little boat (undecided which is more use to me yet)
It's not farewell, I'll drop by occasionally but will be limited. All the best Mark and thanks again everyone.

Re: Time to hand over the reins
Thanks Jamie for your contributions to the forum and Qld members over the years, along with the warm welcome you and Vicki always extended to me and my family when visiting Brisbane to see the in-laws. All your trips were first-class, fun, informative adventures that were a pleasure to be part of.
Wishing you all the best with life's adventures.
