Stockton Beach 30 November 2013

Just thought I would share a couple of photos and videos of our recent trip to Stockton Beach. There was 4 X-Trails, a Pajero and a Challenger. I only went for the morning session so the others will probably have more to add from after lunch.
This was a steep little dune we found before the others arrived.

Daniel and his Pajero left us and the rest of us went for a drive through the RVA.

These videos are all of the biggest dune in the RVA.

This one is pretty funny. Dave makes it up 3rd time lucky but in the process sends everyone watching running to get out of the way.

Re: Stockton Beach 30 November 2013

It was a good day out, the rain really made driving easy on the sand, there were 4 Xtrails and Todds new Challenger,

Image

We came across a stuck Prado? he had his tyres at 22, a tad high I think, I think 14ish is much better.

Image

After Todd and Ian left the rest of us had lunch and flew a para kite, although the wind was only light we had fun.

We were just about to leave when a stranded jet skier came staggering up the dune to us, his jet ski broke down and he need a left back to the boat ramp at Tomago, it wasn't to far out of my way.

Hey guys....the link below is from the Stockton Beach meet and a bit late but I am still no guru with posting vids I take with my canon HD camcorder.
Does the link work for any of you?? the preview for me is OK....the vid is a bit slow to start and it's a bit shaky in parts.

Re: Stockton

Hi guys,
just back myself and it's certainly not as easy as it looks in the videos.
Had to back up quite a bit occasionally to make it up.
Really glad to have had others with me for advice.
Seems fun now, but yesterday I was shaking....
