Re:

Glad you had a great time Todd.
Spent the weekend pouring over the maps.
The Tops to Myalls Trail on one of the maps seemed to have a 4wd track running pretty parallel, but I wasn't sure.
There sure is a lot to do up there even keeping to the well marked tracks.

Monkerai is also supposed to have a nice dog camping place with amenities-good for when friend comes. Will check it out too.
Not too far away to look forward to.

Re:

I'm potentially interested. I have traded in the X-Trail for a hunk of Triton. I'm happy to be the recovery car should you need it emoticon

Re: Chichester

Happy to have you join- any recovery required will be because of the driver, not the car.
Thinking of basing in Frying Pan Creek campsite, but don't mind where if you think other spots bettr.

Hi Gail Coachwood is usually full of trail bikes, frying pan is more 4wders. Up to you but I think Frying Pan is nicer.

Thanks for that Todd, so Frying Pan it is.
Forecast is for rain, but I'm still going to give it a go and hope BOM is wrong or it's not too wet. emoticon
If the triton comes at least I'll have someone to snatch me out of the mud.

terribly sorry, I'm going to have to bail! I have too much coursework to get done emoticon I would ahve loved to come for a more sedate drive after the last one bent my side steps to buggery.

Re:

No worries. No-one will now see my errors. And have to bail myself out if trouble-good learning.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Heading off now and the clouds look menacing-hope to get the tent up before it rains.
