What are they called?

Missing a little clip or pin or whatever it is from under the car. Can't find it in the manual, and would be neat to know they're called so I can get a few from my local Nissan service centre.

Anybody know what it is I need to ask for?

Cheers

Re:

When your at the dealer just ask them, they will find it on their system. Be as descriptive as possible as to where on the car it came from and they will find it for you.
Otherwise just take the one off the other side of the bash plate and show them.

Re: Re:

I think they are called 'scrivets'.

They come in 2 sizes for the front plastic air-foil / splash guard (I no longer dignify that part by calling it a bashplate) and they cost about $3 each at the Dealers.

The larger scrivets go to the leading edge and the smaller ones are for the trailing edge of the splash guard.

I've had to replace a few, so its worth while grabbing a couple of spares while you are at the Dealers.

Re: What are they called?

I believe they are called push rivets or rivet clips (scrivets) depending on whether you screw them in or push them in. Don't go to the dealer unless you like paying too much ($3 each for 20c worth of plastic - who are they kidding).
Supercheap push rivets
Supercheap rivet clips (scrivets)

Thanks guys. I just wanted to avoid that awkward call on the phone with the girl in the service department :-)

Re:

Don't bother trying to explain it on the phone David, just turn up and then you could show them if there is any confusion.

Re: What are they called?

Ebay is the place to get these, just search for Nissan Clips, they are dirt cheap, from memory I paid $5 for 30 off these clips which are an exact replica of the Nissan clips. In fact you can get a match for every type of clip you would ever need.

Admin Edit: eBay link removed. Please describe the item on eBay without posting any link to it, as these links go dead after the auction finishes. Thanks.
