I do anything between 1000 to 1500 a fortnight so I am continually at the workshop. 10,000km intervals are killing me.

I know Nissan Australia have 10,000km service intervals, but from memory, the Electronic Service Manual suggests either 15,000km or 20,000km intervals between Oil Changes etc. Can't remember which.

I know Mitsubishi recommend 15,000km intervals for our Lancer!!

Might save you some money from unnecessary servicing.

Re:

Depends on the type of driving you do but if you do that much kms in stop and go city traffic you'd want to have your oil changed at every 5,000kms instead of 10K and you can do this at any mechanic shop.

2003 T30 TI

First day back to work from a 5 week holiday. Reverse out, stop, change to drive and "shudder/snap"

317195 on the clock.

No forward or reverse, engine now revs freely as if in neutral. Engine is pretty stuffed now, high oil consumption, plus a rattle at certain revs that could be timing chain, so leaning towards sending it to wreckers.

My 2011 TL diesel has covered 72000km in three years and I average around 500km/week. So like Rob's earlier entry, I'm pretty regularly at the dealers getting her serviced.

That said, she purrs like a kitten and I got 67,000km out of the first set of tyres. Very happy with the car.

Our exy is 7 years young this month.

It has close to 190,000 km on the clock.

The only issue we have is the gearbox and trying to save the money to get it replaced sometime this year.

Regards Scot.
