Re: To trade in the exy or not??
Keep the EXY Mate, Bash plate it up, just get the bumper plastic welded or get a 2nd hand one.
Give it a 30mm lift on Old Man Emu progressive springs and the ride will be far superior to all the "REAL" 4X4's, you'll get out of it at the end of the day still fresh where everyone else is stuffed, with crook bums and backs.
Get some decent AT tyres and don't be lazy, get out and let them down when needed and you will be surprised where your EXY will go.
I surprise people all the time in so called "Real" 4X4's of where I can go and how easily I do it.
Just pick your lines carefully, drive to the conditions and blow peoples minds with what an EXY can do.
Afterall, it's more fun having a challenge along the way, makes the trip an adventure, a tale to tell.
There are plenty of people here who will help get you a better EXY.
Start with the HI Tech Mufflers exhaust system, great improvement, and chip it, that's my advice.
Have a think and contact someone close with a modded EXY so you can see what they can really do.
Have a great day, and say G'Day to ya EXY for me, Augustus the X Trail
