My Invoice states, "Replaced Air Conditioning Filter {In cabin filter}{where fitted}"

No such numbers on my Invoice, nor is anything remotely described as a Cabin filter or whatever??? { $40 micro-filter (Part No. B7200-A0025 ) ... ho hum, another drama!!!

There is however one item called "Element Assy" ...p/number;N.16546VO100 $36.95

Re:

The element assy and that part number refers to the paper air filter. I doubt they put the cabin filter for you, as the T30 doesn't come with one from the factory and unless you specifically ask them to fit one. They won't do it themselves.

Re: "recommendations" from nissan service centre

Yep that's right, thanks mate.

I just confirmed with Spare parts at FTG Nissan, that a retro fit can be done in @ ten minutes, the filter was $39 something I think.

He stated that they work well as the old ones he has seen seen are filthy and when I said my lungs are a bit dodgy he reckons it's a worthwhile job for me to do.

Re: "recommendations" from nissan service centre

Just checked my Invoice and they did charge me for the paper Air Filter despite me telling them I used a K&N filter {no Label on the outside structure of the Air Filter}.

I distinctly remember having a post service discussion with one of their service workers re; this issue and he apologised and said I wasn't charged for it because I had pointed out to him that Nissan did not recommend the air filter be changed at 80,000KM and I had put in the old one {cleaned up"}only to take the vehicle in for the service as the K&N filter was still drying!

They charged me $36.95 for a piece of paper I neither want nor have a use for ...

Another point to raise with the Service Manager when I call today, ho hum!
