Good to hear guys, I've been watching photos on Konazz Facebook. It looks like great fun. Look forward to going out and hearing all about it over some beers and a fire.

Back home to Canberra last night. Car is @ Nissan as it needed a service ASAP.

Not too much damage to report:
1 Yoko ATS tyre: side wall puncture, new tyre already on back order
Intercooler dislodged in Oodnadatta 6x4 track, fixed there and then
Front bash plate needs a bit of work, paint and re-shaping
and lots and lots of bugs to clean off emoticon

Made it home too. 10,633km for the trip. Need 2 new tyres as the Yokos are completely destroyed but that was to be expected as they weren't new when I started out.

Re: Central Australia

Hi Todd,

Sounds like you had a great trip. Did you get to see everything you had planned or is another trip on the books!!!

That's interesting about the Yokos, how much of the trip was dirt and how many K's did you have on the Yokos before the trip? I put about 17000 on mine (from brand new) during my 2011 trip to Broome, probably only about 30% dirt and they looked almost new by the time I returned.

Re: Central Australia

It was probably around 50% dirt/gravel. The Yokos had probably around 30,000km before the trip. They now need replacing. That they had less than 50% tread definitely exposed them to chipping.
