The Yokos had probably around 30,000km before the trip. They now need replacing. That they had less than 50% tread definitely exposed them to chipping.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Toddyh03)Sun, 08 Sep 2013 10:05:12 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077522,from=rss#post2077522https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077522,from=rss#post2077522Welcome back boys.nondisclosed_email@example.com (cooch t31)Sat, 07 Sep 2013 18:11:49 +0000 Re: Central Australiahttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077519,from=rss#post2077519https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077519,from=rss#post2077519Hi Todd, Sounds like you had a great trip. Did you get to see everything you had planned or is another trip on the books!!! That's interesting about the Yokos, how much of the trip was dirt and how many K's did you have on the Yokos before the trip? I put about 17000 on mine (from brand new) during my 2011 trip to Broome, probably only about 30% dirt and they looked almost new by the time I returned. nondisclosed_email@example.com (whip62)Sat, 07 Sep 2013 17:21:08 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077517,from=rss#post2077517https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077517,from=rss#post2077517Welcome home guys. Not too much damage to report: 1 Yoko ATS tyre: side wall puncture, new tyre already on back order Intercooler dislodged in Oodnadatta 6x4 track, fixed there and then Front bash plate needs a bit of work, paint and re-shaping and lots and lots of bugs to clean off nondisclosed_email@example.com (konazz)Fri, 06 Sep 2013 10:54:36 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077391,from=rss#post2077391https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2077391,from=rss#post2077391Good to hear guys, I've been watching photos on Konazz Facebook. Heading towards lake Eyre tomorrow and after that we part ways. Met a couple driving a diesel X-Trail towing a camper on the Strezlecki track yesterday.
