GIZ Snorkel 1, Flooded Road 0 Just a quick preview of the drive I took today around Colo River. I went looking for some dirt and didn't expect to find flooded roads. Deepest point here was around 1m, so just lapping at the top of the bonnet.
If my snorkel had any leaks I wouldn't be here posting this video right now.

Re: Wow!!! I would've been stressing at that deep point!
Any water in the car
I did notice the little bow-wave that started forming

Re: GIZ Snorkel 1, Flooded Road 0 Not a drop inside Michael.
Kev I saw a patrol come the other way so that was my depth gauge. It would have been a smidge over 1m at the deepest point.

Re: I heard in your single word in the video that it got a little deeper than you would have liked.
Good thing you kept going and didn't stop to go back.
You can hear the engine start to fade as the water started to take hold.
Nice video Todd.

Re: GIZ Snorkel 1, Flooded Road 0 The engine fade was part struggling to push that amount of water and part me slowing down to sit behind the bow wave rather than push through it.

Re: GIZ Snorkel 1, Flooded Road 0 Top stuff. Love the "word" of confidence. Hey. That would have been a good time to throw open the bonnet, put on a diving mask and check for that suspected leak.
