Re: Caves to caves???

It has been very dry lately so I would imagine the Kowmung to be quite low. A dumping of rain can change things quickly though.

Not sure how long it's been since you last went through Dingo Dell but it's all fenced now. You have to walk in and out of your camp. As a result it's all a little overgrown now. There are nicer places around Jenolan now.

Re:

Just an update... i know its not march, but the fellas at work want to go in Feb. So I convinced them for the last weekend of February - 21/22/23

Our current plan is to leave a bit after lunch on Friday and set up camp at Yerranderie in the afternoon/evening. Spend Saturday exploring the areas, Kanangra Falls etc. before heading back to Yerranderie for the night, and then some more exploring on Sunday morning before heading home around lunch, to be home early in the afternoon.

If anyone's interested, feel free to join up, and I'll post update the 1st post properly if we get a few coming.

There is a possibility that my work will be taking me overseas for a good 6-7 months (those of you who know what line of work I do, will be able to read between the lines) and if it goes ahead, I will have to be in Brisbane for 8 weeks beginning around the end of Feb, so I'm stiill a maybe for now.

If you change your dates I have nothing on either weekend before or after.

Just a thought but what about the first few weekends in Feb?

Re: Caves to caves???

is anyone available for Sunday the 14th of April?

Hopefully its enough notice to get a few people. I'll be spending 2 days doing the tracks in the area in late February, so hopefully if Todd and Tony come along, we'll have a fair bit of knowledge as to where to go.
