Sure will Michael. Will make the trip that much more comfortable.

Re:

Nice. We'll probably be all in Speedy tents (Rob and I got one on sale).

At least with the camper, carrying spare fuel won't be an issue.

Just gotta figure out what the following will set me back
OME shocks
Nudge or Roo-bar
Provent
Snorkel
Lights
Tyres (although my boss, Neme who you met, said if I take him, he'll chip in $1k for them!)
UHF setup
Potential dual battery
Awning
Roof basket
and a few other things

Re:

Todd, considering we drove Bedourie to Toowoomba in 1 go (in July this year), the Birdsville to Longreach can be done. But watch out for those skippys, they are thick near Longreanch.

Nice route plan there, should be a good run.

That's an impressive list Michael. The OME shocks will be a problem. Read the thread on T31 shocks in the suspension section. Basically ARB can't do it.

Re:

Yeah... been keeping an eye on whats going on w/ ARB in the other thread. Hopefully Pedders will come through.

I'd say that list is THE MINIMUM... being only 4 months in to the game, I haven't got the setup you've got yet.

Not bothering about the dual battery, as Rob in the BT-50 has one, and a Waeco Fridge/Freezer. I'll just carry an ice chest.

I'm 99% sure Rob and I will be joining you at Warren Weir on the 1st night, but we'll probably head west from South Lake Eyre. My boss is giving Tara his car for the 3 weeks, so she's cool with that.

I noticed on the map you've got a night after Innamincka, closer towards the south eastern corner of the lake... is that the Muloorina Homestead?

Its possible that we may see each other again at Alice, as we're looking at doing the Old Ghan Line from Oodnadatta to Alice, which I'm budgetting 2-3 days (through Dalhousie, Mt Dare, Finke, and up to Chamber's Pillar). But we're going to do a super quick trip back to Canberra in 3 nights straight (Coober Pedy, Port Augusta, Mildura, home)

That night after Innamincka is on the Strezlecki Track. Just a road side stop. There is a water bore there. I think it's called Montecolina Bore or something similar.

Prob won't catch you in Alice as I will spend a few days up to and around Birdsville. Gonna check out Big Red etc.

After Lydhurst is just a bush camp near Lake Eyre. Nothing there as far as I know.
