Re: ** NSW & QLD X-TRAIL Challenge Round 2**TRIP REPORT**

It's just so hard to look at all the fantastic photos! I would say that I have had this growing "itch" to join a trip for quite a while now, but I think it would be more aptly described as a raging skin condition in desperate need of attention..

But all 4wd'ing itches aside.. great report! And cheers for all the great photos! (It's not so difficult to keep my partner interested when everything looks so good, haha)

Re: ** NSW & QLD X-TRAIL Challenge Round 2**TRIP REPORT**

Well, on Saturday I was 'Tail End Charlie' so caught most of the dust.

I don't have the top end equipment like the black box recorder camera or any high faluting whizz bang camera so I did not get many good shots.

But what I did do was use my still camera mounted on a spider tripod sitting on the dashboard.

I have strung the videos I took together into a two part movie, added some music, sped up some parts, slowed down some other and have put together a half way decent account of the Saturday in the bush and on the beach.

First one is bush and the second one takes up as we get onto the beach

Apologies for any shakes, blurriness or shifting around

Vid 1 13 minutes

Vid 2 8 minutes

Re: ** NSW & QLD X-TRAIL Challenge Round 2**TRIP REPORT**

Hi Guys,

I have finally worked out how to compress the videos and keep them in HD quality. Thanks to Reggie for the pointers emoticon

The first video is a combination of our entire day at the forest. Sorry, no music in my vids but plenty of action in there LOL emoticon

The next video is our fun at the beach and this video has been sped-up.

I suggest you watch these in full screen and 1080HD mode setting.

Re:

Hi Scot,

I can't see any trip shots in your FB link and I also reckon it is better to upload the photos to PhotoBucket, as not everyone can view the pics on your Facebook page.

Re:

Well I might find time over the week end as photo bucket takes way too long to load photos and I do not have 4 hours spare to do this over the next few nights.

Regards Scot

Re:

I actually find Facebook to take forever to upload photos Scot. Are you using the bulk upload feature in PhotoBucket at all and not the single pic upload method?

Regardless of that, I still can't see any beach photos on your Facebook page, so am not sure what's wrong there.

Re:

Make sure your FB album is public. If it's Friends only, no one else can view it. Had that issue before.
