Re:

The 1st time up Mt Coree, I did in on 40PSI, even the puddle on Two Sticks near Coree Camp and the ruts just after.

Let me know when you've got a free day.. I'm always happy to tag along... my wife is happy to get me out of the house as she's studying uni.

A trip down Gentle Annie trail to Flea Creek, and then hooking north up Webbs Ridge towards Wee Jasper was my next day trip plan, after installing the bash and lift kits. Not sure if I've got enough $$$ for the tyres as well at the moment. I'll PM you when I get my act together... could potentially be THIS sunday if you're interested (probably not enough notice... and i'll only go if I can get my bash plates on which are arriving with my brother this weekend).

Re: Mt Coree/Flea Creek 23/09/2012 (now with video)

Michael,

I'de wear your original tyres out first. The AT tyres are good but the original rubber will get you out of most stuff especially when the pressures are dropped. As you have experienced. You'll find they will wear a bit quicker anyway with frequent offroad trips. I cant do this weekend unfortunately. I'm at Floriade with the family.

I'll start getting organised for the next trip and let you know. The Scott 24 hour weekend after next so then a family day is a must soon after to regain my browny points.

Mike...

PS.. I found the ABLS system worked really well. Even on two wheels. Seemed to do a better job than the Forrester that was in our convoy...
