If you are too tall for the 2.0 T31 (edit: or was that the Dualis? - I'm easily confused) , the 2.5 T31 series IV has adjustable height for the seats. That might help. If you are already dissatisfied with the 2.0, it probably won't get any better for you no matter what you do to it as serious engine modifications cost serious money and it will still never be as powerful as a 2.5 with cheaper mods... The simplest solution might be to cut the losses and to trade up to a good secondhand hand T31 2.5 series IV, then work on that rather than spend more money modifying the 2.0 . nondisclosed_email@example.com (DogTrail)Fri, 14 Sep 2012 22:45:13 +0000 Re: Need Help ( 2.0 T31 2WD SIIII )https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066309,from=rss#post2066309https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066309,from=rss#post2066309You chose an unsuitable vehicle for your purposes - ( if speed was a requirement) Try nitro, it's the only thing which will pull a snail from its shell. You'll need to do your own research on that. Otherwise, I prefer Superchargers over Turbo, but that is a matter of personal preference. Edit: I did rather miss the point of your OP but once I realised that you were actually 'Dressing up" the 2.0 L, then some small changes can be done reasonably economically which will give a little bit more performance. A sports exhaust was a good start. It's probably not the best candidate for High Performance modifications, but throw enough money at anything and it can double the power...nondisclosed_email@example.com (DogTrail)Mon, 10 Sep 2012 20:25:10 +0000 Re: Need Help ( 2.0 T31 2WD SIIII )https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066258,from=rss#post2066258https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066258,from=rss#post2066258My Mother Brought one about a month after me and i drove it but it was the auto version did not like it and the fact that i am 6'2 and head room i do not fit in them with out my head in the sunroof area so yer did not like it at all but yer i am at a loss at what to do i do very much regret not getting the 2.5 now. nondisclosed_email@example.com (showxtrail)Sat, 08 Sep 2012 11:20:02 +0000 Re: Need Help ( 2.0 T31 2WD SIIII )https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066255,from=rss#post2066255https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066255,from=rss#post2066255There is not much you can do to make a 2L xtrail more powerful, if your intent was to enjoy a more powerful car maybe a 2.5 one would have been a better choice. in fact even the Dualis with the same 2L engine would have felt more powerful due to the lighter weight of the car and its compact size.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Sat, 08 Sep 2012 10:58:59 +0000 Need Help ( 2.0 T31 2WD SIIII )https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066248,from=rss#post2066248https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2066248,from=rss#post2066248I Need Help So I have a 2.0 2WD Xtrail 2012 S IIII Now just to put it out there it is gutless I love my xtrail but when it comes to wanting the power or some get up and go it is just not there.
