Re:

We should really start to consider a meeting point.

Last time we met on the side of the road at the Shell service station at the Lake Lyell turn off (sign posted) on the corner of The Great Western Highway and Magpie Hollow Rd.
MAP

If we want to meet at the Glenbrook information centre (just up Lapstone Hill on the left at Glenbrook (first village) just let me know.

I think time wise we should look to arrive at Lithgow by 8:30am, that way we have plenty of time to enjoy the day.

Re: Who's interested now. Mount Walker. Saturday 25th August 2012

I thought the servo worked well last time. Good chance to pick up final supplies.
Tony Kat and Ben may be able to come on this trip. Will have to confirm closer to the date.

would my Exy be capable of this trip if we stay on the main trail?
I still have the bashed plate, scorpion a/t's & the pedders lift

With all the offroad you have done with the Careflight trips Chris I wouldn't think this would be a problem for you at all.

It will be good to catch up again as it has been a while since our Turon Valley trip.

Re:

We can still go if the track is damp but only stick to the main tracks.
We will know more of the weather a day or two before and make a decision either way.
I will still go even if it's pouring with rain.

Good to hear. I'm looking forward to this too much to cancel now - no matter what the conditions, there would have to be some track that was challenging but doable
