Finding lastest post/theads

Hi is there a way to "View the most recent posts on the forum."

as it seems the only way is to go though every section and look at the dates of the threads,
This isnt an easy task.

Cheers
Gary

Tracey,

You need to click on "Get notifications of a new reply" everytime you make a post ina thread you wish to receive notifications about. You also need to check your SPAM folder as your internet provider may be deleting all Runboard email notifications.

Re:

I appreciate that I am new to the forum, however I am not new to forums in general. Alot of forums I frequent have a "New posts" or "New posts since last visit" button which is very helpful in keeping track of the updated threads without visiting each subforum individually. Is this a feature already available on this forum that I have missed? If not, is it possible to add it? Like I said, I know I am new here so the questions are asked respectfully.

Re:

Hi Doug,

The software Runboard uses in its forums is different to others you may have come across. With Runboard you will see the NEW icon flashing against each thread that has a new reply added to it and you will also see the NEW icon in the main forum view against a forum section which has that new reply. You can choose to receive email notifications of new replies being added to thread as long as you subscribe to the thread or by clicking on "get notification of a new reply" when you make a post in that thread.

Runboard is currently working on a new feature that will display a summary window shwoing the latest replies/thread in sequence, but this feature is still being tested.

Once you spend some time on the forum, am sure you will get used to it, as it does take some time getting used to compared to other internet forums.

Re: Finding lastest post/theads

Hi Doug,
When you first logged onto the forum, you should have seen ALL the threads with the "NEW" icon next to them.
The easiest thing to do is at the top of the first page click the "Mark all forums as Read" button and these NEW icons will all disappear. Then when someone posts in any thread, you will see the icon only next to those threads where the new posts were made.
