Where to buy parts for our X-Trails?

OK I've searched on the forum and so far not found what I am looking for - sorry if this has been covered before though.

I am wondering where you guys buy your car parts from. Specifically, I am looking at a head gasket kit at the moment - but you never know what you're gonna need in the future.

I'm fairly new to Oz, hence this might seem like a daft question. I knew where to go to in the UK but that's bugger all use to me now emoticon

I have so far tried Repco, and I'll also try Supercheap and another place in town, Auto Pro or something. Repco quoted more than double the price of ordering the kit from eBay UK!

Are there any online retailers or anywhere else that I have overlooked?

Cheers, Dan emoticon

Re:

For parts like a head gasket and stuff like that, it is always a good idea to buy this from your local Nissan dealer. Other parts of the car which cost a bomb from the dealer can be found at the wreckers for almost half the price and there are plenty of wreckers who stock xtrail parts in very good condition.

Forget about eBay UK and don't compare eBay prices to what you see here in shops emoticon If you are not in a rush and prepared to wait for your parts then eBay is definitely an option.

I've not tried my local dealer yet, it's a public holiday here today so they are closed! I'll try them tomorrow after I get the coolant checked for exhaust gases...
