I had it setup/tuned for fuel consumption. The day the dynatune was done, it was 32°C. Improvement in power was 9.5% at 1500 rpm, 7.7% at 2000 rpm and overall average increase of 6%. I got 10.8l/100 km over a distance of 10 000km before fitting the Unichip from Dastek. Fuel consumption improved after installation of the chip. Now I get average 9.8l/100 km over a distance of 12 000km. Most of it is done in city driving which averages at 10.4l/100 km and open road/highway 9.3 l/100 km. Best open road was 8.1 l/100 km driving speed at 120 kmph. Should the chip be set for performance, the gain will be more. I am happy with the low down power gain. The car accelerates far smoother than before. It was worth it. I paid about 300 AUD.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jcvdsa)Fri, 01 Jun 2012 05:11:35 +0000 Re: T31 ECUhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062864,from=rss#post2062864https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062864,from=rss#post2062864tnx heaps Jalalskinondisclosed_email@example.com (kinglew64)Wed, 30 May 2012 18:53:19 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062853,from=rss#post2062853https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062853,from=rss#post2062853For the petrol you would need a piggy back ECU, but I doubt anyone fitted them to their T31 petrol as yet. Do a search for piggy back ECU and you will see the ones for the T30 model (same engine).nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Wed, 30 May 2012 14:28:56 +0000 Re: T31 ECUhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062846,from=rss#post2062846https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062846,from=rss#post2062846No, for the petrol engine pleasenondisclosed_email@example.com (kinglew64)Wed, 30 May 2012 13:00:37 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062844,from=rss#post2062844https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062844,from=rss#post2062844For the diesel T31 yes, please do a forum search to find the existing thread.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Wed, 30 May 2012 11:32:11 +0000 T31 Petrol Piggy Back ECUhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062842,from=rss#post2062842https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062842,from=rss#post2062842Dear all, Does anyone know if there is a performance chip for the T31? regards Lewnondisclosed_email@example.com (kinglew64)Wed, 30 May 2012 10:35:37 +0000
