**5-7 of October, 2012** NSW & QLD X-TRAIL Challenge**Round 2**
OK Guys,
John got this idea stuck in my head since last week and I kept thinking it over and I reckon it could work for the 2nd time around LOL
Basically, with so many new members joining our forum from both QLD and NSW, John thought it may be a good idea to do the Woolgoolga meet-up all over again and at the same Caravan part at the Lorikeet!
For those new members of the forum who would like to see what Take 1 of the trip involved, refer to the trip report HERE
The high resolution version of the logo can be downloaded from HERE. You can use this to print on T-Shirts and other stuff. Also, I have created a flyer which can be printed and dropped-off at dealerships or be given to other xtrail owners to generate more interest in this event. It can be downloaded from HERE
Event Details as follows:
Date: 5th to 7th of October, 2012
Location: Woolgoolga, NSW
Base-Camp: The Lorikeet Caravan Park
The Lorikeet Address is:
210 Eggins Drive
Arrawarra
Nsw 2456
GPS Coordinates and directions (for those coming from the South) as follows:
Our Forum has been given 10% Group-Booking at the above caravan park, so it is imperative that you mention that you're part of the Australian X-Trail Forum meet-up team at the time of booking.
The booking charges and the available property types schedule can be found HERE
The list of attendees:
TRIP AGENDA:
The EVENT has been added to our Facebook Page as well, so make sure you add your name in there and share it around with your FB friends.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
* please read the event rules before coming on this trip. They can be viewed HERE
* All participants on this run are to have signed off on the new trip rules as posted HERE before being allowed to attend this trip.
If you have non members attending this event, could they please read the rules and have them acknowledged by a member of the forum on their behalf!

Re: **Expressions of Interest** NSW & QLD X-TRAIL Challenge**Take 2
Hi Jalal and all,
In my email to Jalal last week, I said that although the initial idea was raised in April, the dates and the venue were confirmed until sometime later. Using the same formula that made such a success of the first Woolgoolga meetup, we could propose the following.
1: The weekend of the 5th to 7th of October as the Friday is school holidays for both states.
2: Revisit the Lorikeet Caravan park as the surroundings and BBQ they provided
everyone thought was tops. We can also access a bus to the RSL at Woolgoolga for
Friday night's dinner.
3: Extend the trip through Sherwood forest to the other side of the mountain. Scott and
Wendy did a fabulous job here.
4: We now know the beach can be accessed from Arrawarra Headland for an extended
drive, tide permitting.
With the meetup at Jindabyne cancelled earlier this year, this is a great opportunity to get
together once again.
Jalal, put Bob and I down as confirmed, Series 3, QLD plates.
John

Re: **Expressions of Interest** NSW & QLD X-TRAIL Challenge**Take 2
Jalal, it's probably just me (and if it is ignore me) but i usually find these types of things are never quite as good when you try to replicate something you have done previously. Do you think it would be better if you tried somewhere a bit different this time? Just a thought...

Re:
Dunno Todd, my kids would disagree with you on that
In addition to that, the trek is suitable for all new members with their brand spanking new xtrails and it is the perfect introductions to off-roading.
