T31 Xtrail Fuse Location Guide
Hi to all,
Given the enquiries we've had of late, we thought it timely to post a guide as to where each fuse is located, it's rating and what it feeds. There are four main locations, the battery post fusible links, the interior fuse box under the lower right dash panel, the engine bay fuse box and the Intelligent Power Distribution Module known as the IPDM. To access the last two, it it necessary to remove the air cleaner snorkle between the front of the vehicle the air box. If you need to remove the IPDM, release the clips around the outside edge and pry uwards. It is about 40mm thick. When replacing it, make sure all the connectors are fairly seated. The pictures here are of a Series 3 but given the same components are used through the entire T31 series, the locations should be the same. This is to serve as a guide to location only and if a fuse is blown the cause still needs to be found. There are a few fuses which I cannot find any information at this point in time. Fusible links ABCD are shown twice to reflect both petrol and diesel models.
Click here for the PDF. containing the fuse information and click on each picture to get the full size version showing the designation of each fuse.

Hope you find the information useful and should you find something different, please let us know.
John

Re:
Just a quick note. This fuse/s layout may not be the same as your overseas model and may only be accurate for Australian models.

Re:
I suggest you run a wire direct from the battery and see of the motor still has any life in it, if not, contact your nearest wrekcer for replacement.

Re:
The fuses for the seats would probably be in the engine bay fuse box. The fuse for the heated seats is in fuse position #31 and it's 20Amp. Check the first post of this thread and look at the PDF file.
