Yeah it would be great if you could report back about the Kowmung River height. It would be good to see how quickly the river subsides after a bit of dry weather. I would think to be Xtrail passable it would need to be less than 1m at the deepest point.

Nice report Toddy.
Pity the river was up so high and you couldnt continue as we did the full Caves-Caves trip back in March 2009 with all standard Xtrails without any big troubles.
Worth trying again once the river subsides.
