I know BLSD is not like a diff-lock but Toddy was enquiring about electronic traction control which BLSD is Tony.

Well I've got a Series II T31 and if it is indeed fitted with BLSD I can vouch that it doesn't work very well in proper off road situations (compared to actual diff lockers). If it worked then I would have been able to reverse out of the bog on Blackfellows because I only had one wheel in the air at the time.
It may, however, be very useful in getting up some of those steep areas along Baal Bone.
